We have just a huge weekend ahead at New Life. Tonight is Ladies night out and they are going to a Japanese Steakhouse in Dublin. Tomorrow is the benefit singing for Steve Bridgers at the church. Finally, Sunday is church in the morning with the Stewardship Banquet that night. The Stewardship banquet I believe is going to be another great event. We have worked hard to make it special this week and I feel like it will be a great success. I know that we are going to have some people working at the church today and I would like to say in advance to them- “Thank You!”

I was a little here, there, and everywhere yesterday. I tried to do a little bit of office work and then did a hospital visit in Dublin (Oren Poole). While in Dublin, I came off from my Daniel Fast of 21 days and had grilled chicken with cheese, bacon, and tomatoes on it. It was awesome. The afternoon was busy and then I closed out the evening by watching Bethany start in her first basketball game. They won which made me excited for her. I didn’t really get to talk to her about it because I had to leave immediately for a Pastor’s Council meeting. When I got home she was already asleep.
Today should be an adventure as well. I am leaving this afternoon to go and be apart of a dinner at the state capital building. I may be eating supper tonight with good ole Sonny Perdue.
