I am going to start leaving some quotes that I like for everyone to read on Saturdays. I hope you enjoy.
I read this recently, “Just because it’s old, doesn’t mean that it is a classic.”
What are you doing in your life that is just out of habit? Just because you have always done “it” doesn’t make it the best practice for your life.

I have a lot going on this weekend so I will just give you a little insight into my scrambled egg of a brain:
* I am praying for Dock Churchwell to get better. They decided not to move Dock. He is doing a little better.
* I want my renters to pay me. We will owe us over $2,000 come Sunday. Show me the Money!
* Sometimes I have to make decisions I dread. Made one last night.
* We have major sound issues at the church. The specialist was supposed to come yesterday but rescheduled for next Thursday.
* Tara is doing a great job with the children. She let me talk to the helicopter pilot yesterday about the egg drop. It will be crazy.
* I am leaving today for a conference. I will be able to hang out with my buddy Mitchell Tolle Jr. I am supposed to eat with some guy named Jason Crabb.
* We have the Lee Symphonic Band on Tuesday, March 10th. We will not be having service on Wednesday night. That means that I am open to go and preach anywhere that night.
* I am ready for the Rock of Love Series to begin this weekend. It will be fun and challenging. One week will be way hard.
* Hung out with a bunch of preachers last night. Good times.
* Youth camp is reduced to four weeks this year because of the new dorm. I think it is awesome! I am already excited about camp. Youth Camp is the best thing that we do in the Church of God.
* I have to go and get Bethany up. Bye

We have two children in the house who are sick. It started with Bethany yesterday and then Andrew got sick today. It makes you feel very tender towards your children when they become very sick. The sickness causes them to become extremely needy of you.
Is is any wonder that when we become sick in our lives (relationally, physically and emotionally) we tend to have a stronger desire to go to our Heavenly Father? It is how we are wired as humans. While we should always desire to have relations with the Lord, it is only when faced with a felt need that we really reach out to Him. The reason is simple. Just as my children reach out to Sarah or myself, we reach out to Christ because we know that He is the one who is able to take care of us in our vulnerable state. Quite simply when we are hurting we turn to who we can trust.
If you are hurting today just go ahead and do it – turn to the one you can really trust – Jesus.

We had a good day at New Life yesterday. I will confess that it is always a little odd to have a guest speaker in service with us. We had Johan Bruwer from South Africa with us for both services and he did an excellent job. I love the accent! I also love the fact that He hit my youth pastor in the head with a hard back Bible. Sorry Tyler
We had 179 yesterday in attendance. I often times say that we have shifts at our services. Yesterday was like shift number 7. Crazy!
I am so excited about next week. We start the new series “Rock of Love with Jesus Christ.” Trust me when I tell you that you do not want to miss this series!

I am just a little drained today after all of the happenings of yesterday. I received so many emails yesterday. I was humbled, honored, and also overwhelmed.
Last night we had an awesome service. People came and met God. I know that God moved in so many ways. The stories are still being told today. There were several people who I felt the release in the atmosphere. There were healings and God moved. I am so glad that I obeyed!

Several weeks ago I felt the Lord dealing with my heart about having a miracle service. To be perfectly honest I feel funny about having a service and calling it a miracle service. I just couldn’t get away from the prompting of the Holy Spirit. As I type this there are people praying in our sanctuary. The church starting praying at 5:00 am this morning and will continue to do so up unitl the service begins at 7:00. God is going to move!!! How do I know? Because there have already been signs. If you have a need in your life and you are ready for your miracle and cannot be at the service simply email me at cryandavid@aol.com and myself and the elders of the church will be laying hands on the requests. Please join with our church body tonight as we believe God to move with signs and wonders.

For those of you who did not know, Sarah and I went off for a few days last week in the mountains. It was great to just hang out with each other without any children around. We had a blast. I will post some pictures later on.
This morning we had 160 in service. I am getting ready for tomorrow night. We are calling in Miracle Monday. Make sure that you are there tomorrow night at 7:00. Miracles still happen!!!!!
I spoke on the “Power of Trust” this morning. Ricky Rosemann spoke this evening and I loved his quote “If you are going to be a bear, go ahead and be a grizzly.” Awesome!!
*Remember to keep Jeff Turner in your prayers as he is in rehab in Macon for his back
*Christian Rojas came home this past week and he is doing good. David and Nikki looked surprisingly well for not having much sleep!
*Brandon Stokes is home and resting from his stay in the hospital.
Lot going on this week so make sure that you stayed tuned in.
