There is so much going on this summer that at times I think my head has actually been spinning. This is week is already shaping up to be very busy. Since this is a holiday weekend, I decided to cancel this evening’s service so that families could be together.
I spoke this morning on “More”. Whatever it is that the Lord has stirred in your spirit, ask for more. I spoke about Jacob in Genesis 35 returning to Bethel because that is where he had an experience with God. We have a lot of people who know about God, but have never experienced Him. I talked about how relational evangelism is great only if it is followed up with personal evangelism. People do not save people, God only can save.
We had 142 in attendance in church this morning with a ton of regular’s out on vacation and others sick. I have so many visitor cards that my hand may fall off tonight. I love it!
